How do I download?
The easiest way to download the free PC Doc
Pro software onto your computer is to go to
the following website:
http://www.pcdocpro.com
Then, click on one of the many "Download"
links on the page. You will also be able to
read more information about PC Doc Pro on
this extensive website.
What is the file size and how long will it
take to download?
The total download file is about 3.6 MB in
size - that includes all the setup files as
well. Assuming "normal" Internet traffic the
download times would be as follows:
56k modem = ~10 minutes
DSL/Cable modem = ~1 minute
Of course, download times can vary depending
on your connection speed to the Internet and
the Internet traffic at the time - but it
shouldn't vary too much from those time
estimates.
I've lost the registered installation file.
What do I do?
You can download PC Doc Pro from our
website or review the email sent to
you from PC Doc Pro after registering your
copy. If you have selected Extended
eSellerate Download Service (eDS), you can
download the application up to one year
after registering PC Doc Pro.
When will I receive my license code
information after purchasing?
If you use our Integrated eseller feature,
i.e. registered PC Doc Pro within the
application, activation is immediate after
credit card authentication. There is no need
to enter any serial codes as this is done
automatically.
If however, if you register PC Doc Pro
through our
webstore, it can take up to 20
minutes for your registration details to
replicate across all our servers. Please
ensure that you are connected to the
Internet to activate PC Doc Pro. Carefully
enter your user name and serial number
provided.
Please reboot your machine if activation
does not occur after this time, and
reconnect to the Internet to complete the
registration process.
Please note some small delays may occur in
verifying your credit card details under
some circumstances.
I just purchased online but I didn't receive
my receipt via email. What happened?
Receipts are sent immediately after the
order has been processed. Please ensure that
you are connected to the Internet and that
the computer or ISP does not have a firewall
or SPAM/ad-blocker affecting the delivery of
email, please also ensure you entered a
correct email address.
The license code provided to me is invalid
when I enter into the program?
If you registered through our web store, you
need to enter your user name (entered at the
time of registration and on the email
receipt from NeurosoftCorp) as well the
unique serial number.
As the characters in the license code can be
confused, please copy and paste (as opposed
to manually typing in) the license details.
Where is the directory location of PC Doc
Pro?
When you download the free PC Doc Pro
software onto your computer it should
automatically place an icon on your desktop
and also an entry in your "Start" menu so
you can easily open up the program at any
time you want.
However, in the unlikely instance that it
DOES NOT install either of these you can
find the actual program in the following
directory on your computer:
C:\Program Files\PC Doc Pro
If you look inside that folder you should
see a small icon with the name "pcdocpro"
beside it - just doubleclick on that icon
and the PC Doc Pro master control window
will open up on your screen.
The program is registered but after
scanning and repairing consecutively, the
same number of detected problems appear
Please make sure
you have downloaded and installed the latest
version of PC Doc Pro from
here.
If the problem
persists, the problem may be caused by
reoccurring invalid entries. Invalid entries
can be created by programs (and even
Windows) through their normal operation. For
example, when a program is started, it puts
entries into the registry and creates files
which the registry entries point to. When
the program is shut down, it may remove the
files but leave the registry entries in the
Registry, thus creating an invalid entry.
Please run a
test to determine if PC Doc Pro is working
correctly.
Start PC Doc Pro
Run a full scan
and repair
Immediately
after, run a second scan
* Are there any
errors detected?
If not then PC
Doc Pro is correctly detecting and repairing
the problems.
If so, please
send your logs:
Navigate to the
\Program Files\PC Doc Pro\Backup and email
all files in the backup folder to support
@ pcdocpro.com. (You may want to
compress them using zip or rar as they can
be rather large.)
