What is the most current version of PC Doc Pro?
The most current version of PC Doc Pro is
v.3.7
In the Master Control screen of PC Doc – Pro
(the main screen that opens when you
double-click on the icon) you should see
your software's version number right below
the small PC Doc Pro logo.
To update to the most recent version of PC
Doc Pro simply click on the "Live Update"
option in the main menu and follow the
simple directions to connect to our Update
server.
Is the program really FREE?
PC
Doc – Pro offers a completely free software download. You can use the software as
many times as you'd like for an unlimited
time period to check your PC for corrupt or
redundant files that could cause potential
harm to your computer. What’s more PC
Doc Pro will fix the first 5 errors for free.
However, if you would like to FIX all the
errors that PC Doc – Pro
finds on your
computer you will need to order an Unlock
Key. An Unlock Key enables the software to
FIX the errors that it has found as well as
allowing you to use the scan/fix functions
of the software for the validity period of
your license.
How often should I scan?
We would recommend using PC Doc – Pro at a
minimum once every two weeks, preferably more
frequently. If you would consider yourself a
heavier computer user then we would suggest
at least a weekly scan for sure.
These scans are best performed by using the
automatic "Schedule" feature found in the
main menu. Just click on the "Advanced
Options" button on the main menu and set up
PC Doc – Pro to run automatically on your PC
while you sleep! You never again have to
worry about running it manually
I noticed during the setup that you have a
EULA agreement and it won't let me past that
point unless I "accept" its terms - why?
This is correct. We have an End User
Licensing Agreement for the use of our PC
Doc – Pro
software. This is a standard agreement used
in almost all software distribution and is
meant to protect all parties and the
software from unscrupulous actions.
An end user who wishes to use the free PC
Doc – Pro
software must agree to the EULA or else they
won't be able to complete the installation.

Does PC Doc - Pro have a built-in anti-virus
program?
No, there is no anti-virus program included
in the PC Doc - Pro software. PC Doc -
Pro is used solely to keep your computer
free of unnecessary file "garbage" and
corrupt files that could hamper your PC's
performance.

Can I run PC
Doc Pro
on a MAC or iMac computer?
No, the PC Doc - Pro software can only be
used with PC compatible computers running
the Windows operating system up to and
including Windows XP.
Can I uninstall PC Doc - Pro from my
computer?
The PC Doc - Pro software can be easily
uninstalled at anytime. If PC Doc - Pro has
made any fixes to your computer we do
recommend utilizing the "restore" feature
within the software prior to uninstalling.
To uninstall:
1. Go to the "START" button on your
computer.
2. Select "Programs" from the menu.
3. Scroll to "PC Doc Pro and follow the
arrow to the right to click on "Uninstall PC
Doc Pro".
By clicking on this selection the computer
will automatically uninstall PC Doc - Pro
from your computer.
Please Note: when performing an uninstall of
PC Doc - Pro the actual software must be
turned OFF and not running on your computer
during the uninstall process,
otherwise, the uninstall will not be
successful.
If you are experiencing difficulty
uninstalling PC Doc Pro using the above
instructions, go into the Control
Panel==>Add/Remove Programs and select PC
Doc Pro.
Alternatively, go to Start ==> Run ==> Then
type 'msconfig' (without quotation marks),
select the Startup Tab and remove PC Doc
Pro.
What types of

software?

What is the
refund policy?
We provide limited trial versions of all our software so our customers can evaluate and try the software before making a purchase. This is why we provide a free scan for errors- so you know exactly what the software can and can't do before buying!
Our standard money back guarantee is seven days for the Gold licence and ten days for the Platinum license from the date of purchase. An RMA is required from customer services and will be issued to those who meet the conditions below. Refunds will not be processed without this.
PC Doc Pro guarantees to fix registry and startup problems. Please see our FAQ about expected scan results and how to start your PC in safe mode to complete further tests. However, we cannot guarantee to resolve unrelated faults with third-party software and hardware. You are expected to have access to fully licensed software installation disks should there be a problem with corrupt registry keys, which can occur given abuse by spyware programs and illegal
or unauthorized software installation.
If your PC
registry problems are not solved, we ask clients to Contact Our Helpdesk and tell us about your PC problems, when they first appeared, your operating system, hardware, and whether you conduct any maintenance such as a firewall, anti-virus or anti-spyware utilities. If you know specific error messages, please let us know about these as well.
90% of problems can be solved easily and our technical support center will do its best to solve them for you. We do however, expect you to follow our recommendations and advice. You may be asked further information about your system, software and operating system in order to narrow down potential solutions.
